Maleku pays homage to the indigenous Maleku tribe of Costa Rica — a community of 600 whose art, culture, and heritage inspire everything we do.
I’m Roberto (Beto), a Costa Rica-born chef who found a new home in Minnesota and a reason to share it: handcrafted espresso drinks and homemade empanadas made from recipes passed down through generations.

My new favorite spot! Their coffee is so good, and their chai is even better. Many of their syrups are made in house. Their empanadas are the best I’ve ever had. All are fresh, warm and delicious, with my favorite being the spicy beef.
